As unique an unmistakable as he is, Legowelt - aka Danny Wolfers - has a body of work which is equally diverse and hard to pigeonhole.
With roots in the Dutch techno scene of the early 90s and the cult Intergalactic FM, his trademark sound and world is defined by a hybrid mix of Detroit techno, acid, Chicago house as well as Sci-fi and trash culture, a unique sense of humor and synth fetishism.
Legowelt's or Wolfers' countless monikers had equally countless different releases over the years, including releases on Clone, L.I.E.S., Peoples Potential Unlimited and Crème Organization before going on to set up his own Strange Life label to release even more autonomous music. From an underground hero, Wolfers become one of the most iconic producers of the international techno movement in the 2000s with his DJ sets capturing the true nature of his unrelentingly entertaining world of music.
